The Stay-In-Bed Blues

I wake up in the morning,
And I feel you next to me.
I ought to get up but instead I feel you again.
And God knows two feels gets me hot.
I'll call in sick, even though I'm not.
We might as well call it quits and stay in bed.

Later on,
I begin to get hunger pangs.
I decide to sneak a peak inside the fridge.
But when I sit up I notice you
Got plenty fine morsels to taste and chew.
I might as well lick my chops and stay in bed.

As the day wears on,
I begin to feel wore out.
Some parts of me just aren't made of steel.
But as I get up you pull me back
You'll either give me heaven or a heart attack.
I might as well say my prayers and stay in bed.

Come the night,
I begin to feel alright,
Seein' it will soon be time for bed.
Now I'd go to bed just as quick as I could,
But I'm already there and I'm feeling good.
Just turn out the lights and stay in...
Just tell the kids goodnight and stay in...
Just tuck us both in tight and stay in bed.
